The exhibition “Aging Together – Architectural Approaches for the Elderly” showcases designs that promote communal living for the elderly, addressing the growing demand for spaces fostering social interaction, mutual support, and shared responsibilities. The exhibition invites reflection on how architecture can enable dignified, independent, and connected living in old age, presenting community-oriented housing as a vibrant alternative to traditional senior care.

In a final discussion, we wold like to shed light on questions relating to architecture and life in old age. How can architecture promote social encounters? What possible models are there for communal living in old age?
